New and Improved Feature! Import your Ebay Store to Shopit

Our users have spoken and we're listening! In response to lots of feedback we've been getting about importing your items from Ebay, we've been working hard to improve our Ebay importer to make your experience as easy and seamless as possible. Many people have already discovered that you can import up to a thousand products from Ebay onto Shopit in just a couple of seconds! We've also added a new feature that lets you edit multiple items at once (great if you have lots of items!)

How To Import Items From Ebay

1. Click "Add/Edit Products" in MyShopit
2. Click on the "Add Item" link
3. Select the "Import Ebay" tab (it's selected by default!) 4. Make sure your Ebay XML feed is enabled (find out how)
5. Enter your Ebay store name
6. Click the "Import" button
7. Check the items you'd like to import
8. Click "Add Selected to Store"

The number of Shopit stores is rising steadily! In order to accommodate this pace of growth, we've moved to a new data center. Members of our team worked hard last week to make sure the transition went smoothly. Shopit and every one of its storefront profiles are now living in a much more robust environment. - Logged in Home page: Your new logged in home page gives you a much better idea of what is happening within the Shopit community. We have launched our first Facebook application!

The Shopit App gives those of you on Facebook the ability to set up a store on your profile. It is a fully featured store that allows you to:

Add items you want to sell (books, concert tickets, cars...)
Display them on your Facebook profile
Share them with all your FB friends

The store is fully integrated with your Shopit account, so any changes or additions you make to items in your Facebook store are reflected in your Shopit storefront, as well as any widgets you may have posted across the web.

If you already have an account in Facebook, make sure you add our new app! If you don't, sign up and get started!

New and Improved Commercial Viewing

The page to view the latest video commercials added by you, our users, has undergone major improvements. You can now browse lots more videos from more stores more clearly. The search also helps you find commercials by keyword, which proves useful when you have a good idea of what you're trying to find.

We took a tip from Mashable and did a better job of linking each commercial to its store. We also added a display area for that store's top 3 available items. If you want to draw attention to items you're selling, adding a commercial is now an even better way to drive visitors to your store!

The video player itself also got a face lift. We will add more functionality improvements to it within the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
